Passage is an interactive sound installation created for the series of archways that form The Arcades Project. These open-air structures suggest a reverberant acoustic – one that the artist associates with religious, gothic architecture. Passage aims to create a live, echoic and reverberant space within The Arcades, using sound to transform the open-air space into a solid architectural form.
